Welcome! In here you will find a little bit about me and my 1997 Volkswagen Jetta GT 2.0 8v. Things that will be included will be history, modifications, for sale, and more. We also have a 2004 Volkswagen GTI VR6 24v.
New stuff: Traded the Fox for a laptop Sold the TDI in August
Check out my "brother" site http://myvr6.org and http://mys4.org/. These belongs to Todd, one of my best friends who I met at Bellevue Community College. I just so happen to see him surfing the VWVortex. I soon found out he owns a 1997 VW Jetta GLX VR6, black. I shared I have a 1997 VW Jetta GT 2.0, black; they looked indentical for the longest time and they still do.
Also check out my wife's website. She has a website for her passion, pastries! My wife someday wants to open up a cafe, but she is going to start with this: http://brightcakes.ypguides.net. Meagan also owns the above mentioned GTI VR6.
Here is a link to my Dad's website, http://www.bright-engineering.com. My father is PE (professional engineer). He is currently working at the "Lazy B Ranch" AKA Boring AKA Boeing as a contract employee. He is working on the 7E7 now dubbed 787, I believe. He also worked for Boeing back when the 777 was the project.
Might as well have all the links I can to help out family right? Here is a link to my Uncle Walter's website http://www.walterbright.com. He is a programmer. He has written his own compiler as well as the game Empire. I also understand Uncle Walter worked for Boeing as well on the 757. Also on his website is a little family history; Charles T Bright's trip around the world is also on his website. Of all the Charlie's, he was the 2nd; Grandpa Charlie (who is 85 years old!), Dad being the 4th, and me being the 5th. The first Charles Bright, was Charles A. H. Bright.
